Fishing Report Ucluelet BC Canada August 28

Fishing has been very good these past few weeks. There have been lots of larger chinook salmon in close to shore. A large number or in the 20-pound range. The bites have been all day and often best in the afternoon or this past week during the rising tide. Small spoons have been working better than anchovies. Glow Hoochie’s have also been working good during early morning bites.

Halibut fishing has been fairly consistent offshore. There are spots 10 miles out and 20 miles out that are still producing well. Early morning is generally best for the bites though there have also been some good catches in the afternoon as well.

You can check out Ucluelet-Info.com or get one of our fishing packages available at https://www.salmoneye.net/site/fishing-packages.html. We have very little ocean view accommodation but still have some cabins available.
